Yoga is an ancient practice that in Sanskrit (an ancient Indian language)  actually translates to mean "union" and "togetherness." This means uniting the mind, body and spirit but also means uniting people together as we are all connected. Circle of Joy strives to enhance the connection between children, mothers, care-givers, fathers, toddlers, infants, and one of the most sacred connections between mother and baby.

Fit and Flow Mama (Mama and infant)- Summer Preview Classes @ Vibe Dance and Fitness Studio

This program integrates fitness + yoga for you and your baby. Taught with Jodi Dennie from SD Training and Alyse from Circle of Joy. Our Fit + Flow Mama program is designed to get you fitter than ever before by targeting your mental and physical strength through our high impact 15 minute body blasting workouts followed by our 30 minute yoga intensive.  The primary focus is to transform you to your most optimal self, to feel confident and strong, to tone and tighten, and to feel happy and joyful. Our classes are meant to be a welcoming a warm place for you and your baby and ALL the ‘mommy-ing’ that goes along with it. Feeding, diaper changing, napping, crying etc are all welcomed!  This is also an experience for you and your baby to connect through fitness and yoga, to bond and move together.  Our classes conclude with a 15 minute baby yoga + music where the focus is on baby. Baby yoga, infant massage , music and movement will all be included in this baby centred time.

Mommy and Baby Yoga- (2months-11months) -10 class session- $180.00

Enjoy this sacred practice catered towards you and your baby. The mommy and baby yoga classes provide a chance for moms to regain strength and flexibility while bonding with baby and in a fun and therapeutic way. Focus is put on breathing, stretching, and strengthening and regaining core strength. Mini baby massages and lullabies are also included. All you need is a yoga mat and a small blanket for baby. Classes are 40 minutes It is recommended that you little one has not reached the super fast crawling age yet.

 

Mommy and Teenie Tots- (1 year- 2years)- 10 class session- 

Same class as Mommy and Baby Yoga, but catered to that in between stage between 1 and 2 years where "teenie tots" are just beginning to crawl and walk but not yet ready to participate on their own. Classes are 30 minutes.

 

Prenatal Yoga- Soothe, Stretch, Tone and Conect with your precious baby!

Private in home 1 hour classes. Small group classes are also offered.

 

Toddler Yoga- (2 years-4years)- 10 class session- 

These little movers learn the yoga poses through play, imagination and creative play. Toddlers move, stretch, play yoga games while practicing their coordination, listening and cooperation skills. Classes include moving through yoga poses while exploring storybooks and puppet play. Classes are 30 minutes.

 

Children's Yoga- (5-8 years)- ]10 class session-

Children's yoga focuses on learning poses, play, coordination, cooperation, breathing, stretching, singing, movement and creativity! These classes include yoga games as well as yogi play. Life can get hectic sometimes for young ones, so this class is great way for children to ground themselves and learn from a young age concepts such as confidence, self-image and community. Classes are 1hour.
